Learning journey of East Coast Singapore
Last Friday, we went to the east coast. It
is in the east of Singapore, and it is really a long way from our hostel to the
sea. It was cloudy in the morning, however just exactly at the time when we set
off, all the grey clouds dispersed, and the azure heaven show us her unspotted
and pure face to us again. The sunshine spread its golden light over the city,
the streets, the roof and the water drops on the grass. The humid and frowsty
air evaporated, we greedily breathe the crisp and freash air. After arriving
the East coast, it has been fairly hot, the smell of the sea attracted us.
The sea is beautiful, the blue water waving
in the wind, shimmering in the sunlight. There are many ship in the remote, indicating
us that Singapore is one of the busiest port in the world, the coming and going
ships are the impulse of Singapore’s economy.
To be honest, the sea landscape is not as
beautiful as the sea in my hometown, Quanzhou. But It has its own beauty as
well.

On the bridge, we took some photos – Siting, Hongyu and Xianxi jumped up and took photos, but I did not do it. I do not know why, I just do not want to.
Then, it has been late in the afternoon, we
went to the East Coast Sea Food Center and tried Satay and Rojak. Both of them
are traditional Singaporean local food, the taste is much different from Chinese
food, and is very delicious and month-watering. It is a shame that we did not
try every delicacy in the food center. Maybe I will go there once again!
